Job summary
We are looking for a part time Phlebotomist with excellent clinical, communication and service skills to join our friendly Nursing Team.
Ideally you will have experience but full training will be considered. The role is ideally suited to someone wanting to work school hours.
Main duties of the job
Typical duties include venepuncture, ICE forms, sample handling, and updating patient records. Please see the Job Description for more details.
Candidates must be service-minded, driven to help others and make the patient experience as straightforward as possible.
Confidence in talking to patients with diverse needs is required and excellent communication skills are required. It is essential to be organised, efficient, adaptable, and flexible in a fast-paced working environment.
Applicants should be enthusiastic, professional, and ideally have experience of working in a busy GP surgery using SystmOne. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also be enrolled to the NHS Pension Scheme. Training and ongoing development support the role.

Paston Surgery serves a population of over 6500 patients in North Walsham and the surrounding area. A Phlebotomist is an essential part of our Nursing Team and support other clinical staff and practice management.
